The Gamble Family Farm was established in 1939. We are located in Winterset, Iowa. Randy and Julie Gamble have been raising horses for many years. We also specialize in Limousin and Angus cattle.
Our passion lies in the western performance horse arena. We currently have many prospects that could go in many different directions as well. Our horses have been shown in reining, cow horse, cutting, roping and many other events including in 4H classes. Our colts are started by James Puderbaugh in St. Charles, Iowa. James Puderbaugh's program starts colts with the approach of firm, fair, and consistency. Which lays the foundation for a colt to go in any direction and be successful at any level. Several of our horses are currently in training and have been in training with NRCHA professional horse trainer Monty Bruce in Northwood, Iowa. Monty is a multi-time reined cow horse and reining futurity and derby champion. He has also won money and points in reined cow horse, reining, and cutting disciplines. Our roping prospects are in training with Ryan Royle in Litchfield, Nebraska. He competes in team ropings from small jackpots to the USTRC finals in Oklahoma City.
Gamble Family Quarter Horses has also raised money earners, point earners and world qualifying horses. We enjoy producing horses that are competitive in the show pen but are also the perfect fit for their riders.
Our goal is to share our love of horses, continue to make new friendships, share the prospects we have to offer, and raise horses with honesty and integrity.
